CASPer® Test Requirements

CASPer® is required for University of Vermont College of Medicine, medical school application.

Beginning 2017, the Larner College of Medicine will require all applicants to complete CASPer® (Computer-Based Assessment for Sampling Personal Characteristics). Successful completion of CASPer is mandatory in order to maintain admissions eligibility. CASPer is a 90-minute online test which assesses non-cognitive skills that we believe are important for successful students and graduates of our program. In implementing CASPer, University of Vermont College of Medicine hopes to further enhance fairness and objectivity in our selection process.
