United States Medical School Ranking List

Harvard Medical School located in Boston assumes the top spot according to the U.S. News & World Report’s “Best Medical Schools” for research for 2019.

The American News ranking for the Best and top Medical Schools for Research and Primary Care is among the annual lists of the highest higher education institutions in 2019, highlighting the best universities for many graduate programs, including work, science and technology, education, law, engineering, nursing and medicine. This year’s publication also published new ranks for graduate programs in other popular disciplines, including biological sciences, chemistry, public affairs, social work, and criminology.

Researchers stressed that this year’s census focused on the perceived medical school’s reputation by 10 percentage points and added four new factors to measure the amount in nonfederal and non-National Institutes of Health research grant funding institutions received.
