CaRMS Residency Matching Strategy

CaRMS Interview Preparation and Mock Interview

The CaRMS residency interview has become one of the most important aspects of your CaRMS residency admissions process. The CaRMS interview is the only opportunity medical students have to meet with influential faculty in a standardized fashion to showcase their strong suits, suitability for their desired medical specialty and passion for the specific CaRMS residency program

Similar to medical school interviews, CaRMS interviews take on various forms, including, Panel Style CaRMS interviews, MMI CaRMS interviews and hybrid round-table formats. However, unlike medical school interviews, the CaRMS interview focuses entirely on you as a candidate, with the aim of providing you an opportunity to showcase your skillset.

Preparing for the CaRMS interview requires strategic planning and careful thought. Our highly skilled medical team at MedApplications™ gives you first-hand experience of knowing exactly what it takes to successfully match to your chop choice in CaRMS. We focus on your clinical experience, research accomplishments, awards, character traits and your overall desire to pursue your chosen medical specialty.

A mature and well thought out interview strategy is critical to performing at your best. MedApplications™ uses an evidence-based strategy to teach you how to successfully interview for CaRMS, by combining first-hand clinical experience in the specialty of choice with longstanding experience as CaRMS admissions committee members.
