Tulane University School of Medicine

CASPer® Test Requirements

CASPer® is required for Tulane University School of Medicine, medical school application.

All applicants that are applying to the M.D. program at Tulane University School of Medicine are encouraged to complete an online 90 minute computer based test (CASPer ™), to assist with our selection process.

Applications will be reviewed chronologically with or without CASPer. The information CASPer® provides will be of additional benefit to the Admissions Committee when reviewing applications. You are able to submit your application to TUSOM as soon as it is complete. You can sign up for CASPer after and even take CASPer after your application has been submitted to TUSOM.

Applicants will be invited for interviews with or without CASPer® results. For those applicants who elect to take the test, we will have CASPer® scores within 3 weeks of test completion.

Results are valid for ONE year. TUSOM will not take any informational calls, emails, or communications about CASPer. The test is meant to be taken blind. For technical questions, please contact CASPer.
